Abstract

Summary

Uterine torsion is defined as a rotation of >45° around the long axis of the uterus. Uterine torsion is an uncommon event but is even rarer in non-gravid women, with only 25 cases reported in the last 20 years [1]. Most obstetricians and gynecologist may encounter this obstetrical emergency only once in their lives. Here we reported uterine torsion in pregnancy with twins, in asymptomatic patient, where the diagnosis was made intraoperatively. Only one case of torsion in twin pregnancy was described. It was in didelphic uterus, where one horn rotate [2].
