Abstract

Badminton injuries, despite the worldwide popularity of this sport, remain a relatively overlooked issue. The sport is characterized by factors such as explosiveness, speed, anticipation, and deception.

Injuries in badminton are accompanied by musculoskeletal pain, which negatively affects the player's performance. This paper focuses on analyzing these injuries in the context of current conservative therapy options, with an emphasis on physiotherapy.

Taking into account the biomechanics of the sport, physiological demands, and insights into badminton injuries, the aim of this work is to describe the most common injuries among badminton players and provide an overview of the currently most common treatment approaches, highlighting the possibilities of conservative treatment using physiotherapeutic methods.
