Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

• The article corresponds thematically to the focus of the journal.
• There is adherence to formal structure appropriate to the type of work.
• The manuscript is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word or RTF document file format.
• Correct mention of authors' names and affiliations of their departments.
• Authors declare their agreement to publication.
• The authors declare that the work has not been commissioned by another journal or published elsewhere, except in congress abstracts and recommended practices.
• Authors declare any financial support/grants.
• Authors declare potential conflict of interest.
• The work is approved by the Ethics committee and the authors declare that the procedures used comply with the ethical principles of the Declaration of Helsinki.
• The Role of Authors are defined in the paper.
• The image documentation is of sufficient quality in terms of resolution and printability, delivered in separate files and in the required format.
• Graphs and tables are supplied in separate files of the required format.
• Legends to figures, tables and graphs are included in the text of the manuscript.
• All figures, graphs and tables are cited in the text.
• The reference list respects the citation rules of the author guidelines.
• The number of citations in the text corresponds to the number of literature references in the list and vice versa, each citation has a reference in the text.
• Text layout is sufficient: the text is single-spaced, uses a 12-point font, employs italics, rather than underlining.
• The work is submitted in English version.
